CHESTNUT HONEY

Chestnut honey is a dark colored honey, which can vary from amber brown to almost black, and has an intense and characteristic flavor, with slightly bitter notes and a tannic aftertaste. Produced mainly by bees that collect nectar from chestnut flowers, this honey is rich in minerals, such as iron, potassium and magnesium, and also contains numerous antioxidants.
