Verdole igp is a native variety of our region. It serves as a pollinator and is present at low altitudes in the Serinese area. It is very resistant to fog and cryptogams. It produces medium-sized, rounded fruits of a bright reddish color. Excellent to taste as roasted chestnuts, boiled or in soup. It has been present in our lands since time immemorial.
