The Marrone di Vallerano is a very particular variety present in the area. It has a thin shell, easily removable, and a crunchy and sweetish pulp.

This chestnut can be enjoyed in many ways: fresh, roasted or boiled, making it a versatile ingredient for your kitchen. It is particularly suitable for stuffing desserts, fillings for meat dishes, as well as being used to prepare marron glacé and liqueurs.

It has been present on our land since 1993 .
